Omar Guadarrama
Interdisciplinary performing artist

Born in Mexico-City, first studied Journalism and Communication in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in which he got a Bachelor-Degree in 2009 and then decided to additionally study Acting at Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral  (ENAT), in where he received a bachelor degree with distinction. One of the very few public acting schools in Mexico, the ENAT is known for educate highly skilled performers, who can work as actors as well as contemporary performers. Its alumni are often working in politically relevant and courageous theatre and art projects. After finishing his studies, Guadarrama started working as a freelance-artist in theatre-projects as actor, dancer, performer, in groups and solo-performances in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, China, Romania, Italy and Germany with international artists. Now he studies the Master of Arts (InterAmerican Studies) in Bielefeld University.
