Momentography of a failure [translocal] bringt unterschiedliche, interdisziplinäre Positionen zusammen, die sich mit der kontroversen Welt der Plattformen und darauf aufbauenden Gegenstrategien auseinandersetzen. Nach Stationen in der Akademie der Künste der Welt (Köln), dem Schaubüdchen (Bochum) und der Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (Berlin) ist die Ausstellung nun für einen Monat in den Schaufenstern des atelier automatique zu sehen.

Durch Gig-Ökonomie, Informationsökonomie, Überwachungsökonomie und ihre vielen gegenwärtigen Wucherungen können wir eine Verlagerung der Arbeit von der Industrieökonomie zur Plattformökonomie feststellen: Eine Verlagerung der Ressourcengewinnung, die Daten als das schwarze Gold des 21. Jahrhunderts eingeführt hat, sowie eine Verlagerung vom Proletariat zum Prekariat, was für Arbeitnehmer*innen nie dagewesene Konflikte und neue Formen der Unsicherheit gebracht hat.

Die Arbeiten sind im Rahmen von Momentography of a Failure Workshops zusammengekommen, einer Zusammenarbeit mit Kurier*innen, Künstler*innen, Aktivist*innen, Urbanist*innen und Schriftsteller*innen.

Momentography of a failure [translocal] brings together diverse positions working with multiple disciplines that deal with the controversial world of platforms and the counter strategies that emerge in response. After stops at Akademie der Künste der Welt (Köln), Schaubüdchen (Bochum) and Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (Berlin) the exhibition is now on display for one month at atelier automatique.

The gig economy, information economy, surveillance economy and their many proliferations demand identifying a shift of labor from the industrial economy to platform economy: A shift in resource extraction that has introduced data as the black gold of the twenty first century, a shift from proletariat to precariat that has brought unprecedented controversies and new forms of precarity to workers.

The works have come together in the framework of Momentography of a failure workshops, a collaboration with couriers, artists, activists, urbanists and writers.
